As we arrive in the final months of 2024, I want to share some notable accomplishments from TwelveStone Health Partners.
TwelveStone is expanding its footprint with new sites to deliver infusion therapies across four states. We have 21 infusion centers and are adding new locations in Virginia, Georgia, and Kentucky, as well as expanding into Mississippi in the coming year.
We are thrilled that our infusion centers continue to receive accolades! We’re rapidly approaching 1,200 5-star Google Reviews, a remarkable achievement and testament to the compassionate care our intake and infusion teams deliver.
As we expand throughout the Southeast, a total focus of time and energy will be dedicated to the infusion service line supporting those with chronic, complex, and rare diseases who deserve a higher level of service is our strategic focus. As a result, we divested of our packaged medication and long-term care business offerings.
Our infusion centers would not receive rave reviews if it weren’t for our outstanding staff. Administering infusion therapies is complex, time-intensive, and sometimes emotional. To support our professional clinical and administrative teams in managing the complex process of infusion therapies, we’ve implemented WeInfuse® software, a comprehensive software system that streamlines workflows from pre-treatment to billing, reducing employee burnout and improving management efficiency. Better technology allows us to invest more time and effort delivering excellent patient care.
As the demand for infusion treatments increases, TwelveStone is expanding its range of drug therapies, which will include new treatments like PEMGARDA® (pemivibart), a monoclonal antibody designed for COVID-19 pre-exposure prevention in immunocompromised individuals who may not respond adequately to vaccinations.
Novel therapies are continuously coming to market, coinciding with the rise in the incidence of chronic disease and an aging population, meaning the need for infusion services will continue to grow exponentially. To support the demand, we are expanding our infusion footprint offering multi-site infusion services in cooperation with hospital partners, in the patient’s home when possible and through Cornerstone Infusion Management, stand-alone in-office infusion services in collaboration with specialist provider partners. This infusion platform model improves continuity of care, convenience, accessibility, and adherence to medication protocols. It also provides significant benefits for physicians and patients alike.
And finally, we have added to our executive team, bringing on Jay McKnight as our first President. Jay’s experience includes Varsity Healthcare Partners, Diversicare Healthcare Services, NuScriptRX, and Take Care Health Systems. Jay’s position is new, with the intent of helping TwelveStone scale so that we continue to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
As 2024 draws to a close and the holiday season begins, we are so grateful for the opportunity to service patients across a growing number of states, locations, specialist partners, and conditions. None of this would have been possible without our experienced, educated, and compassionate team members, from sales to operations and our clinical professionals. You represent TwelveStone in the best ways possible and are the foundation upon which we continue to grow and expand.
