Event Takes Place at Sheraton Grand Downtown Nashville on September 20th
Murfreesboro, TN, September 20, 2024— TwelveStone Health Partners, a leading provider of comprehensive chronic care medication services, announced today chief executive officer and Tennessee State Senator (District 14), Shane Reeves will be speaking at the annual Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations (CSRO) Advocacy Conference.
As a pharmacist, business owner and a state senator, Shane Reeves is uniquely qualified to speak on the matters affecting patients with complex, chronic conditions including rheumatologic and musculoskeletal disease.
In this evening’s presentation he will share findings from the Reeves Report, a study of Tennessee’s health in terms of education, healthcare and infrastructure. The report details the financial success of our state as well as very poor health outcomes.
“Only 30% of our health issues are associated with what you might expect, poor diet, lack of exercise, smoking etc. Surprisingly 40% of our health deficit is the result of social determinants of health, which include access to healthcare, education, transportation, housing and food insecurity,” shared Shane Reeves, chief executive officer. “These are challenges that we must address in both the public and private sectors to make real improvement.”
Reeves will close highlighting legislative actions he is leading to address some of the state’s shortcomings.
